Posh & Becks Risk The Wrath Of Brooklyn Beckham By Wishing Him Happy Birthday With Public Instagram Post

If there’s one thing Brooklyn Beckham won’t have wanted on his birthday, it’s a Happy Birthday shout from his mum and dad – David & Victoria. Unfortunately, he got one, and worse still – they did it publicly with a baby photo of him on Instagram:

Birthday = ruined. They even called him by his childhood nickname and threw a ‘We love you x’ in there to boot! Do these monsters actually hate their son, or what?

Brooklyn had previously blocked his entire family on social media, accused his parents of ruining his life, and instructed then to only contact him through his lawyers.

According to ET, Brooklyn is said to be ‘disheartened’ that his parents publicly wished him a happy birthday and broke their communication agreement. Although I’m not sure that a happy birthday shout on Instagram qualifies as communication, technically speaking. After all, he’s blocked them – they couldn’t tag him if they tried.

Brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, also shared posts honouring Brooklyn’s birthday, but it seems they went unappreciated too.

A source told the publication: ‘Brooklyn and Nicola are disheartened they chose to make public Instagram posts for his birthday.

‘These are the exact type of performative public actions that Brooklyn has been trying to put an end to, to no avail.

‘Last summer they issued a legal letter to his parents requesting that any correspondence go through lawyers.’

A very sad state of affairs. Wishing your kid a happy birthday is the bare minimum of being a parent. Are David and Victoria supposed to ignore the lad on his 27th birthday? I mean, just think of how damaging that could be to the Beckham brand!

Come to think of it, maybe Brooklyn has a point. Why did they wish him Happy Birthday so publicly? To promote their image of being great parents who love their son even though he’s a spoilt pr1ck?

Well, in fairness, they can’t text him because he has them blocked, but then that’s what Brooklyn’s lawyer is for; to pass on messages between the family! Totally normal.
