David Banner On John Davidson: “I Would Have Put Hands On That White Boy”
OG rapper David Banner has given his opinion on the BAFTAs N-word drama, and claimed that he “would have put hands on that white boy.”
Banner criticised the expectation for black people to tolerate and accept such treatment and suggested that if he had been in the building, he would have beaten John Davidson up:

Well, nice that Banner and the interviewer could have a laugh at the idea of beating up John Davidson – a guy who has already almost been beaten to death for having a condition he can’t control.
Fair play to Banner for calling out the BBC, though. Like he says – they could have edited out that moment from the broadcast and then all this drama would have been avoided. Because they chose not to (or rather – they were too busy editing out ‘Free Palestine’ remarks), they’ve managed to harm not only black people but those with Tourette’s too.
