UK Grime Legend Wiley Is Trying To Restore His Old Gucci Bag So He Can Resell It
British grime legend Wiley seems to have fallen on hard times recently – which I guess can happen when you go on antisemitic rants on social media – but he could be quids in if he manages to restore his old Gucci bag and stick it on eBay.
The Godfather of Grime, 46, is giving it some serious thought:
That bag is absolutely battered, to be fair. Still, he got 9 years out of it so it sounds like it served him well. I’m pretty sure he can take that back to a Gucci store and have them restore it, then again they might ban him from the shop if they see him walk in with that.
Might be a better idea to sign the bag and auction it off somewhere? It could be a national treasure as far as some UK grime heads are concerned. A one of a kind piece of cultural history!
Whatever he ends up doing, it does suck seeing Wiley struggling like this. The guy wrote a smash hit about wearing a Rolex and now he’s living at his mum’s house and trying to shot second-hand Gucci bags on the internet. Can’t he just put some new music out and see how that goes? He’s obviously still got plenty of fans out there who would support him.
Just a couple months ago, Wiley was complaining about the milk situation at his mum’s house. Someone get a GoFundMe going for this legend.
