A woman’s mug shot has gone viral after she was arrested for allegedly destroying her ex-boyfriend’s car by pouring salt into the engine and throwing glitter in the AC.
Stephanie Carlquist, 31, also slashed a tyre, cracked the windshield, cracked the rear-view mirror and shattered the car’s radio screen.
After the car was damaged, a tow company took the car to a Goodyear in Richmond, Kentucky, where it was deemed totaled with the estimated cost of damages adding up to nearly $12,500.
Following the incident, Stephanie DM’d her ex on Instagram and apologised for destroying his car, claiming she was ‘stressed’ and blaming it on hormones from being pregnant. Doesn’t look too sorry judging by the mug shot, to be fair. In fact that may be the most ‘I did it and I’ll do it again’ mug shot I’ve ever seen on the internet.
Naturally, every post on social media about this has a load of comments underneath from men who claim they can ‘fix’ her, but who knows – maybe her and the ex can sort it all out and reconcile after everything is settled in court. After all, if you ignore the actual damage to the car, the glitter in the AC was a nice touch. Maybe she imagined he would get in his car, turn on the engine and AC and boom – like a 90’s birthday card all over his face.
Then again, she may just as easily do the same thing to his new car once she’s out of jail. Wouldn’t shock me in the slightest.
