Ben Affleck Finally Responds To The ‘Sad Ben Affleck Meme’ (VIDEO)

Everyone remembers the sad Ben Affleck meme from last year right? You know, when him and Henry Cavill were confronted with the news that ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ had received a ton of bad reviews and Ben was shown looking incredibly depressed while Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘The Sound of Silence’ played over the top. Of course you do.

Well it looks like Ben himself has finally spoken out about the whole thing, in an interview with BBC 1 Radio. To be honest, I’m surprised this is the first official time he has said anything about it considering it was such a huge video last year. Here’s what he had to say:

OK, so he didn’t spend too long on the subject, but he did sound pretty cut up about it. Did you hear the bitter tone? Clearly that meme is still haunting him to this day and is a bitter reminder of how much of a flop ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ really was. Doesn’t matter how many “cool effects” you learnt Ben. That film was bone and you know it.
