The bad press around Jonah Hill continues this week as a former star of Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101 has come forward with claims that the 21 Jump Street actor ‘forced himself on her’ when she was a teenager.
Alexa Nikolas revealed in series of Tweets that Jonah Hill kissed her without her consent when she was 16 and he was 24, after they’d stepped outside to smoke at a party in Hollywood:
#jonahhill seemed to have his eyes on me because at one point I wanted a cig and he said he had one in his car “right outside”. Didn’t seem like too much of an effort so I trusted him. I went outside and he grabbed the cigs from his front seat.
#JonahHill didn’t hand me the cig which I thought was weird and then as we walked back to the door I asked him for it and he said nothing but slammed me to the door and shoved his tongue down my throat. I was so appalled I pushed him off of me and ran inside.
Just to note #JonahHill said if I wanted the cig I had to come with him outside to get it. He didn’t wanna go “all alone”. They were all aware I was 16.
Alexa explained further to Page Six:
“I was a child so I obviously felt scared and angry. Sadly, this wasn’t the first time I’ve been assaulted or objectified as a child. I was intoxicated from their alcohol and so none of that helped my decision-making afterward. This was before Uber and Lyft by the way and I didn’t even drive yet.”
On the one hand this story is 15 years old and there’s no way to prove it other than to take the word of a woman who is recalling something that happened to her when she was drunk 15 years ago, but on the other hand these stories do seem to come out in groups and maybe Alexa Nikolas is feeling brave enough to share her story after Jonah Hill’s ex came out with her own stories about the actor ’emotionally abusing’ her last week.
For what it’s worth, Jonah Hill responded to the allegations via his attorneys, claiming that Alexa’s story is “a complete fabrication.” If too many more of these stories come out though, it could be Cancel City time for the Super Bad legend. Although, it could also put him in the running to play Harvey Weinstein in a biopic. Every cloud and all that…
