Rishi Sunak has only been leader of the country for the past week or so, but he’s already facing a challenge to his leadership from a very unlikely source.

32 year old Effy is a United States based wrestler who is appearing in the UK for North Wrestling in Newcastle and TNT Wrestling in Liverpool and decided to take to Twitter to hype up his coming matches by challenging Rishi Sunak to a cage match with the winner gaining the right to rule the country. Here’s what he had to say:

There’s a real reason I’m coming back to the UK. You got rid of Boris – which was a good move.

Then you got Liz Truss, who was garbage but she knew that.

And now Rishi Sunak – I’m coming back to the UK to challenge you to a cage match.

I’m going to beat the hell out of you in a cage match, become Prime Minister of the UK and abolish the UK.

Then we’ll go back to anarchy in the UK, except without the Sex Pistols being put together by a conglomerate and being a corporate entity.

All you Tories watch out, because I’m going to make you f**k off.

Geez that was a confusing promo that seemingly went all over the place wasn’t it? Not really sure if Effy is gonna get any more fans of that one, but I definitely would love to see him take on Sunak in a steel cage. Can you imagine how funny it would be to see a shrimp like Rishi step into a steel cage and get his ass beat? Make it happen.

For more of the same, check out some photographs from Mankind and Undertaker’s epic 1998 ‘Hell In A Cell’ match. Hopefully Sunak V Effy will be something like that.
