Two Twins Just Married Another Set Of Twins In A Town Called Twinsburg At A Twin Festival

I’ve met a few sets of twins in my life and it’s safe to say that they’re not like the rest of us, but I think the behaviour of these two sets of twins is a little bit extra even for twins.

The two sets had apparently both agreed with their twin that they would never marry unless they found a set of twins that wanted both of them, so it was a dream come true for Brittany and Briana Deane when they ran into Josh and Jeremy Slayers at the Twin Convention in Twinsburg, Ohio. In fairness, that was probably the most likely place that they were going to fulfil this unusual criteria.

Anyway Brittany tells us the story:

It’s really been a fairy tale come true. Marrying twins is something that’s very important to us.

Even when we were little girls I can remember being in kindergarten, knowing that that is what we saw for ourselves.

We knew that the chances were incredibly scarce.

The stars had to align for our dreams to come true. I get to marry the man of my dreams and at the same time I get to look over next to me and see my twin sister marrying the man of her dreams.

I remember vividly the first time Brittany and I saw Josh, and Jeremy at the twins festival.

I also remember the first time we all spoke the last night of the festival. It’s sort of like everything was in slow motion.

A lot of the wedding planning was extremely fun and even peaceful for Brittany and I to do together because we have the same taste.

We had the same vision of what our double wedding day would look like. We work well together and I would say the hardest part is planning everything across state lines because none of us live in Twinsburg, Ohio.

If they couldn’t find identical twin girls that matched up well with them, they were never getting married.

I think that they experienced a lot of the same challenges dating what we call ‘singletons’ – that means ‘non-twins’. It’s hard when you’re dating someone and they don’t understand the twin bond.

When we have children, my and Josh’s children will be genetic siblings to Briana and Jeremy’s children.

Even though they’re cousins, they’re technically genetic siblings. We imagine it will be like two moms and two dads all raising our families together.

I mean that does sound kinda cool although I imagine it will be pretty confusing for the child growing up living with two different sets of people who look exactly the same? Could really screw them up? Imagine if they even had twins themselves. What a story that would be eh?

To be honest it sounds like the kind of thing that might happen in a Broadway musical or an episode of the new Gossip Girl style teen show. Would probably tune in until the inevitable episode where one of the twins started having feelings for the one they weren’t married to. That kinda stuff writes itself.

For more of the same, check out these identical twins with the same boyfriend who are planning identical pregnancies. Weird.
