Two Brothers Have Had Their Pictures Taken On Santa’s Lap For 34 Years

Two Brothers Santa Featured

This is kind of a weird family tradition but it’s fascinating to see how people change over the course of three decades – even if they are accompanied by a variety of different Santa Clauses.

Brothers Michael and Martin Fray have had their annual photograph taken on Santa’s lap every year for the past 34 years, starting in 1980, although for some reason only Mike appears in the first two pictures.

It’s kind of a strange tradition – in fact it’s really strange, why the hell would two grown men want to sit on Santa Claus’ knee every year? – but it’s fascinating to see how both of them have changed over the years – both in their physical appearance and what they’ve been wearing (the 90s has some particularly funny outfits) but also how much better photography is and people are at being Santa over the years.

The nicest surprise though is probably the addition of their own babies in the most recent pictures.
