UFC Middleweight champion Sean Strickland and the Tate brothers have never seen eye to eye, but it’s still pretty surprising to see Tristan Tate stoop this low in response to Sean Strickland’s breakdown on the Theo Von podcast recently.

Strickland was recalling some memories of childhood trauma when all of a sudden, he began bawling his eyes out:

Pretty intense stuff. It’s clear from the clip that Sean Strickland is in need of a Good Will Hunting-style “it’s not your fault” moment, but instead, Tristan Tate responded to the footage with the most unsympathetic comment ever:

Now obviously Tate is only responding in this way because he’s upset that Strickland called him and his brother ‘con artists’ in another podcast, but if he had any sense at all he’d be commending a tough guy like Strickland showing his vulnerability in this way. Not to mention, Strickland would absolutely beat the sh1t out of him for saying something like this, so now he also has to hope that they never cross paths offline.

Then again, I can totally imagine Stickland making fun of somebody else for crying like this on a podcast. Although maybe not after they’ve just got done explaining how they would sleep under their mum’s bed because they were afraid their abusive dad would murder her in the middle of the night. Better keep that big head on a swivel, Tristan Tate.
