I’m not gonna lie, but I’m not familiar with any of the games in the Farming Simulator series because to be honest, I can’t really think of anything more boring than playing a video game that simulates farming, but that’s all about to change after I saw the trailer to the new edition.

Of course, this isn’t the actual trailer to the new Farming Simulator game and has instead been spliced with the theme music to Doom 3: BFG Edition which completely changes its tone and turns it into one of the most badass looking trailers of all time. Suddenly farming is cool and I really want to get involved and plough those fields?

You’re probably sceptical but take a look at this trailer and you’ll see what I mean:

Damn – doesn’t it look so sweet when you’re out there on your combine harvester or tractor or whatever that is and the horses are riding alongside you and going crazy. It’s like you’re going to war or something but instead you’re just going to town on those fields. They ain’t gonna plough themselves.

Anyway, I ordered Farming Simulator 19 on the back of this trailer. Hope it’s as exciting as it looks.
