4) Man Attacks Vending With Heavy Machinery

There’s not a human in the Western world that hasn’t thrown a few swear words at a vending machine. Vending machines are all well and good when they work, but when you’ve used your last 80p to get a refreshing carbonated drink and the thing won’t pay out, it’s a better man than me that won’t get at least a tiny little bit massively furious.

That’s what happened to Robert McKevitt. Rob is from Iowa and he’d paid $1 for a Twix, so he rightly expected to receive his Twix, but the evil vending demon had other ideas. The machine decided to keep his choccy bar regardless of Rob’s fair payment.

Rob has served in Afghanistan with the Iowa National Guard and is consequently not the type of guy to let things lie. He got in his forklift truck, and according to his supervisors, lifted the machine and dropped it onto the concrete floor six times in the quest for his sugary snack. Amazingly only three chocolate bars were released in the bedlam.

Rob had this to say “That machine was trouble… They fired me, and now I hear they have all new vending machines there”.

I feel his pain.
