It doesn’t look like Tommy Fury will be rematching Jake Paul any time soon as he’s revealed this week that he’s put on a staggering 25kg since he bested his nemesis in Saudi Arabia at the end of February.

I’m not sure I’d have thought it was possible to put on that amount of weight in six weeks, but the figure comes from Tommy himself via a vlog he uploaded with former World’s Strongest man Eddie Hall this week. Just look at the state of those bellies:

During the video, Fury tells Hall that he has “put on three stone in four weeks”. If that claim is true, that works out as 25kg – or just over six kilograms every week.

Which is fair enough, really. After all the hype and pressure around the Jake Paul fight, it’s hardly surprising he wants to take some time off to just laze around on the house and stuff his face with pizza and burgers all day, is it?

Not to mention he just became a dad so what better time to develop a dad bod? It’s only natural. Still, I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of any fighter putting on this much weight so soon after a fight. It’s like the guy is doing a reverse Ramadan the way he’s piling on the pounds. Big pay day, big breakfasts, lunches and dinners! Bon Appetit, Tommy!

Meanwhile, Jake Paul has been Instagram shopping for a new girlfriend. W’s all around, it seems.
