I’m sure we’re all aware of the huge mess that Brexit appears to be as we inch closer and closer to the deadline for leaving the European Union next year on March 29th, so I won’t bother going into that but will instead draw your attention to this ridiculous video that was captured earlier today featuring Theresa May and Angela Merkel.

May is currently off touring around the EU desperately trying to get some more concessions of famous European leaders so that some kind of deal can finally be accepted by all parties – good luck with that one mate – and first on the list was German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The pair came face to face today, but unfortunately for May the door to her car didn’t open and she was trapped for an awkward amount of time whilst Merkel stood there looking on with a mixture of disdain and sympathy in her eyes:

Yeah, sometimes it’s like the universe is conspiring to come up with the most apt and perfect metaphor for current events and I don’t think it could have devised a better scene than this one if the best satirists in the world had all teamed up to come up with something. Am positively certain that this won’t be the last shit show we have to see in the coming months. Stay tuned.
