I’m not a girl, but I imagine that a fair few of them spend a bit of time curling their eye lashes so they can look extra beautiful when they step out on a Friday night.

It turns out though that curling your eyelashes is much more dangerous than you might have originally thought. Redditor Aub3912 had an absolute mare when she ended up sneezing whilst she was curling here eyelashes, and uploaded the picture for everyone to see. This will make you wince:

Ouch. That does not look like it was fun at all and literally looks like all of her eyelashes have been ripped out of her eye socket. I wonder how long it will take those to grow back?

Amazingly, Aub3912 was actually fairly stoked with her injuries as she feared they were way way worse to begin with, thinking that she had actually ripper her eyelid off. Phew I suppose?

Anyway, just make sure you hold that sneeze in if you ever find yourself in that situation. You don’t wanna end up looking like Aub3912.
