S Club 7 Fans Furious After Just One Member Turns Up To Concert

If you had booked tickets to see S Club 7 on their reunion tour, the least you would expect is for all of them to show up. Not the case at their sold-out gig in the Isle of Wight the other night, apparently.

S Club fans were left fuming after just one member, Bradley McIntosh, turned up to perform at the 150-capacity venue in Newport.

Upon closer inspection though, this isn’t as outrageous as it first seems. Initially, two of the seven members, Tina Barrett and Bradley, were scheduled to perform at the venue for ‘Flashback Fridays’, which priced tickets at just £23.

In the end, Tina didn’t turn up, which meant 41-year-old Bradley had to run through the hits all on his own. It turns out this particular gig was booked before the S Club 7 reunion was announced, and this means that contractually no S Club members can appear on stage together unless it’s part of the official reunion tour. Still, attendees were rightfully pxssed because two S Club members were advertised, and they only got one.

A spokesperson from the venue, Wyld, told the Daily Star:

“Sadly, this situation was out of our hands, and when we booked the show there was no speculation or confirmation of an S Club 7 reunion, for which contractual obligations meant they weren’t able to perform the show we had booked and sold tickets to.”

The spokesperson also added that the unhappy customers would be entitled to a ’50 per cent refund’ for the inconvenience, so that’s nice.

The official reunion tour gets underway in October, where presumably it will be S Club 7 turning up and not S Club 1 or 2. Never forget:

For the time S Club 7’s Paul put his BRIT Award for sale on eBay because he ‘had bills to pay’, click HERE. Fair enough really.
