I wouldn’t have thought that Prince Harry revealing that he had perhaps killed 25 members of the Taliban in his autobiography would have been the story that would get him into the most trouble considering the rest of the Royal Family, but it seems like it’s on the verge of sparking an international incident with several different countries because of it.

The latest nation to get involved with the debate is Iran, who have decided to accuse the ginger prince of war crimes via the Twitter account for their Foreign Ministry. Here’s what they had to say:

Just in case you’re a bit confused about what they’re on about there, then you’ll  be interested to know that a 61 year old British-National named Alireza Akbari was executed last week in Iran after being arrested sometime between 2019 and 2020 and accused of spying on the regime for the UK. The official line was that he was executed for ‘corruption and widespread action against the internal and external security of the country through espionage for the intelligence apparatus of the British government.’

As you might expect, Iran has faced a wave of criticism from the UK and the EU for the execution and now have decided to clap back with that statement and have a go at Prince Harry as well to demonstrate the hypocrisy of our country. I suppose they’ve got a point really haven’t they?

Basically, what we can take from this is that Harry really needs to keep quiet because he’s basically giving countries like Iran a justification for their somewhat questionable actions now. The kid just drops the ball in every way possible doesn’t he?

For more of the same, check out Prince Harry saying he used to have to listen to people debating whether he was gay on secret supermarket trips. Tough life.
