Police Officer Accused Of ‘Unhinged’ Behaviour As He Arrests Man For Filming In Public
A British police officer is going viral over his wild facial expressions as he arrested a man for filming in public. Or was it for a public order offence? Or failing to provide his details? It’s not really clear, to be fair.
Anyway, the officer claims the man was causing other members of the public harassment, alarm and distress, but the most alarming and distressing thing about this clip is the unhinged look on the officer’s face as he gets more and more excited about making the arrest:

Yikes – that is one intense dude. Now obviously we don’t have the full context so it’s possible he did the right thing here, but then again, maybe he didn’t? From this limited footage, it does seem like he’s basically arrested the guy for filming in public, which you’d think is something the police would be more relaxed about at this point.
I mean, he does know that is going to end up all over X, doesn’t he? Is it really worth the bother? Over a guy exercising his right to film in public, essentially?
Not a great few days in British policing, especially over in Birmingham.
