There’s been a lot of controversy over the past few weeks about Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter and how he’s fired the majority of the workforce and is now making the rest of them work long unsustainable hours in order to turn the company into an efficient, streamlined money making machine.

One of the key recent points in this strategy for Musk was to install beds and bedrooms at Twitter HQ in San Francisco where employees could grab a little bit of rest without heading home and wasting more precious time that they could be spending in the office. Nobody had seen photographs of what these actually looked like until they were recently leaked onto Twitter of all places:

I mean that doesn’t look that bad does it? I certainly thought that they would be a lot less luxurious than that, but I suppose I’m forgetting here that they’re beds that are in an office building so you can work overtime and make more money for your boss. They’re not beds in hotels that you’re paying for so you can rest your head for as long as possible after a busy day sightseeing or whatever. Big difference.

They shouldn’t really be allowed but I guess that’s just how Musk operates. Thankfully, because the beds are illegal as they aren’t located in a residential property, the city of San Francisco is now investigating Twitter HQ for breaching building regulations.

Of course, Musk took this how he’s taken every criticism since he took over Twitter: not well.

Lol this guy is always on the attack and just can’t take any criticism can he? It’s so funny that he seems so desperate to be popular and well liked but he just can’t seem to pull it off.

There’s no reason why the SF government can’t look into fentanyl affecting kids and also whether or not his building are following the right regulations as well. Get a grip. Expect much more of this nonsense in the future anyway.

For more of the same, check out Elon Musk’s father saying that he’s not even slightly proud of him. I guess that can explain a bit of this can’t it?
