The news that ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 +2’ were being remastered and rereleased on Playstation 4 and Xbox One later this year pretty much broke the internet earlier this week and now we’re seeing a reunion of the original cast for a lil skate sesh at legendary skate venue ‘The Berrics’, which will probably do the same.

The crazy footage was captured before lockdown over in America so was perfectly legal and sees many of the playable characters from the game return to bust out some tricks and grind some rails. Take a look at it yourself and watch your heart fill up:

OK so we’re missing Andrew Reynolds, Jamie Thomas, Geoff Rowley, Bob Burnquist, Bucky Lasek and Rune Glifberg, but it’s still not a bad effort? It’s probably more annoying that people like Riley Hawk and Jack Black were involved and getting more screen time than straight up legends like Steve Caballero and Chad Muska.

Biggest problem clearly has to be the shortness of the video and the fact that all the old skateboards weren’t filmed with their cards popping out some tricks. I guess maybe you might think that they can’t skate as well as they used to because they’re real old now, but even so I reckon they could easily still bust out a kick flip or a pop shove it or something? Why deny us that and only do a two minute edit when you’ve clearly put in major effort just to get them all in the same room at once?

Hoping that this is just a teaser and they’re gonna drop the full version sometime in the future – maybe the week of the launch or something? – but I suppose we should just be happy for what we’ve got there. Even if Jack Black is involved.

For more of the same, check out the trailer for the remastered ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater’ right here. Nice.
