The original ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ is one of the most iconic and terrifying horror movies of all time, so it obviously makes sense that there would be a video game of it – what doesn’t make sense is that it’s taken so long.

The trailer below doesn’t really tell us much about the game itself and is instead just a bunch of people killing each other in extremely violent, grim and disgusting ways. Looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun to be fair.

Eeesh, I think it’s the sound effects and lack of any real music that does it for me in terms of creating a really sinister and foreboding atmosphere. Really creepy stuff.

Anyway, it’s a multiplayer game so I guess you’ll just stumble around the game arena before finding someone and then attempt to stab them/chainsaw them to death afterwards? Sounds like a fun way to kill an evening sure.
