Man Cleared Of Forcing A Child To Perform A Sex Act Because ‘He Was Asleep At The Time’

In an absolutely absurd ruling an unnamed 35 year old man from Sweden has been cleared of charges after being accused by an 8 year old girl of forcing her to perform a sex act on him.

The Stockholm court said that it could not be proved that the man was awake during the incident, and therefore he could not be liable for his actions – which is literally the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my whole life. Like seriously, what the fuck?

The alleged incident is said to have taken place when the girl was sleeping in a bed with her mother and the mother’s boyfriend. The older woman left for work, and the man and the child remained in bed. She described seeing the whites of his eyes as he took her hand and placed it on his erect penis, moving her wrist up and down with his own hand. She turned away and tried to pull her hand back, but he apparently reached out and replaced her hand a second – and possibly third – time.

The girl, also unnamed for obvious reasons, supposedly described the whole process in vivid detail, which prosecutor’s ruled would be impossible for an 8 year old girl unless the incident had occurred. They went on to relay the story she had recounted herself to the court.

Yet, unbelievably, this was insufficient for the judge, who reckons the man was just having a little nap and had no idea what he had done:

There is no reason to believe that the plaintiff knowingly made false statements about this. It is not possible to rule out that she may have been mistaken.

It is also impossible to ignore the fact that [he], although his eyes were open, may have been sleeping when he committed the act.

Outrageous verdict. Firstly, it’s highly unlikely he was asleep. And secondly, even if he was he shouldn’t be let off scott-free. Otherwise everyone is going to be using this as an excuse when they get caught breaking the law. ‘Oh, sorry I went on that murderous rampage. Madness, lol. Refreshing sleep though, feel much better now.’

This story is disgusting, pretty much on a par with that paedophile that was allowed to have his criminal record deleted.
