If you check out the hashtag #MakeupTransformation on Instagram or Twitter, then you’re going to be met with a bunch of inane four panel shots of regular guys quickly transforming themselves into their heroes in four steps using only makeup. It truly is amazing.
Until you realise (after 0.1 seconds) that they’re not actually transforming themselves into their heroes, they’re just putting a bit of makeup on their face and then posting a picture of a celebrity they’re supposedly looking at. To be fair, it’s pretty funny and it’s going to get you featured on Sick Chirpse and a bunch of other websites, but I’ve got better things to do with my time to get involved with dumb hashtags (obviously haven’t).
Browse the gallery below though and let us know who you think did the best – that’s if you can even identify half of them. I like the Robin Thicke and The Rock ones to be honest though – I think they really nailed the essence of both characters. Check out the hashtag if you want some more.
