Luke Littler Fully Turns Heel, Thanks Booing Crowd For ‘Paying My Prize Money’
I’m not sure why darts fans seem to hate Luke Littler now, but it looks as though he’s fully embracing his newfound heel status.
The former golden child of darts was booed into oblivion as he advanced into the quarter finals of the PDC World Darts Championship at Ally Pally the other night, and responded by thanking the crowd for making him rich:
Littler said: “I’m not bothered. Really not bothered. You guys pay for tickets and you pay for my prize so thanks for booing me.
“No-one wanted me to win but I proved them wrong yet again.”
Fair play to the lad really. 18 years old and has already achieved more in his lifetime than all the drunk, fully grown men booing him combined. What’s their problem all of a sudden, anyway? Is it because Luke Littler is no longer the plucky underdog, and just wins everything now?
Best thing The Nuke can do now is use the boos as fuel to go and win the championship once again, and then rub his victory in all the haters’ faces. Bonus points if he picks up the mic and calls them all poor again. Ted DiBiase would be proud.
Go Luke Go!
