Earlier this week a clip of Katy Perry’s eye ‘malfunctioning’ on stage went viral, prompting theories that she’s a robot, alien or Illuminati lizard. Some people even thought she was having a stroke in the middle of her set, or that it was some kind of symptom of her being vaccinated (of course). Here’s the footage if you haven’t seen it yet:

That does look pretty f-n dodgy, especially the part where she presses a button on the side of her head to try and fix her paralysed eye. Well Katy Perry has finally addressed fan theories and concerns with a post on Instagram, in which she basically accuses everyone of being dumbasses:
So that’s that then – it’s a ‘broken doll eye party trick’. Which is kinda vague if she’s not gonna show us how it’s actually done, but I suppose we’re going to have to take her word for it. The most ‘normal’ explanation I’d seen previously was that her fake eyelash glue had got stuck to her face, and to be honest that sounds like a more reasonable explanation than what we’ve got here. Seems the comment section under her post isn’t convinced…
Listen I’m all in on the ‘Katy Perry is a robot’ conspiracy theory, simply because that’s more fun to believe. But I’m not completely ruling out the possibility that it’s a fact just yet either. Especially now that she’s saying she can pour beer out of her tits too. We’re watching you, KT.
