Of all the wild sh1t Kanye West has said over the years, this one might actually take the cake. According to The Independent, Ye told a former Adidas executive – who is Jewish – to “hang a photo of Hitler in his kitchen and kiss it every day to practice unconditional love.”

The claim is part of an investigation into the 46-year-old rapper’s business partnership with Adidas; specifically, how the company turned a blind eye to West’s antisemitic remarks before finally terminating their lucrative Yeezy deal in 2022.

It’s just one example the investigation has dug up on Kanye’s alleged antisemitism, which include the following quotes over the years, in interviews and on Twitter:

1. “I prefer my kids knew Hanukah from Kwanzaa. At least it will come with some financial engineering.”

2. “I just think that’s what they’re about, is making money”

3. “Planned Parenthood was made by Margaret Sanger, a known eugenics, with the KKK to control the Jew population. When I say Jew, I mean the 12 lost tribes of Judah, the blood of Christ, who the people known as the race Black really are. This is who our people are.”

4. “This ain’t a game. Imma use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me. I told you this is war. Now gone get you some business.”

5. “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE. The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also you guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

He also originally wanted to name his 2018 album ‘Hitler’, so that’s fun. Obviously Adidas were making so much money from the Yeezy deal that they kept all this private and even tolerated Kanye suggesting things like kissing a photo of Hitler every day, although you’d hope they didn’t actually take his advice.

It just goes to show how massively famous and popular the guy is though that he could drop an album tomorrow and it would probably go straight to #1 everywhere. Literally cancel-proof in a world where cancelling people is the internet’s favourite hobby. Then again, we are now living in a time where it seems his antisemitic sentiments are (unfortunately) shared by many in the online world. But that’s a whole other story.

For the conspiracy theory that was doing the rounds that Kanye deliberately used antisemitism to cancel himself and get out of his professional contracts, click HERE. Genius if true.
