On the face of it, everyone would assume that Kanye West had been having a pretty bad week after the antisemitism and everything else that he was coming out with (mainly the antisemitism) caused a bunch of his corporate sponsors and team members to sever all ties with him.

At the time of writing: Adidas, Balenciaga, Kanye’s agency (CAA), his lawyers and his documentary film crew have all thought that they’re better off without him and he’s also had his access restricted on Instagram and Twitter. However, loads of Kanye West fans on Twitter are claiming that Ye was deliberately anti semitic as he knew that this would lead to all his brands dropping him and that this was exactly what he wanted because he would now be free to start all his own businesses away from the shackles of corporate America.

Check a few of these out:

Well, that’s certainly an idea isn’t it? Is Kanye acting this unhinged and calling out Jewish people because he wanted to get cancelled and be in charge of his own destiny?

I suppose there’s a possibility this could be true, but it’s also leaving him in kind of a tough spot to try and rebuild his legacy after most of the world now hates him. Still, the guy is probably confident enough to believe that he could reinvent himself after something like that, so you never know.

We’ll see where this goes and if he can turn it around, although this kind of feels like Charlie Sheen’s meltdown from a few years ago that just sort of went away after everyone realised how boring he actually was. Will Ye face the same fate?
