It seems everywhere we look people are trying to give us incentives to go and get vaccinated, but I think what the world truly needed in this regard was the thumbs up from New Orleans rap legend Juvenile and his band of homies and bitches.

Well out of nowhere, Juvenile has dropped this remix to his 1999 classic ‘Back That Thang Up’, now appropriately titled ‘Vax That Thang Up’…

Admit it – you were fully expecting to hate that but it actually wasn’t half bad. Especially the lyric “If you wanna smash some dude named Scott, Go Go Go Go Get the Shot.” I mean as far as lyricism goes, you can’t hope for much better than that really, can you?

Well anyway, great to see some guest appearances from the NOLA/Cash Money legends in there (no Lil Wayne though, sadly). I’m sure their efforts will convince a load of rap heads and sceptics to go and get vaccinated. I mean how could they not after listening to that banger? Almost enough for the rest of us to go out there and get a third dose.
