It’s been a good couple of months now since Johnny Depp won his defamation case against Amber Heard, but Amber is still desperately trying to crawl back the verdict.

A couple of weeks ago she requested the judge set aside the verdict or declare it a mistrial, citing several factors including an alleged case of mistaken identity involving one juror. However, Judge Penny Azcarate has rejected all her claims and her call for a retrial.

Here’s what she wrote about it all:

The juror was vetted, sat for the entire jury, deliberated, and reached a verdict.

The only evidence before this court is that this juror and all jurors followed their oaths, the court’s instructions, and orders. This court is bound by the competent decision of the jury.

Reckon this could finally be it for the trial of the millennium then?

Not quite. Heard also has the ability to appeal against the verdict in the Virginia Court of Appeals and the issues presented there could well be different from those rejected above.

Expect her to drag this out even further despite the fact that she literally has no chance of victory and even if she did, it’s not going to change the public’s opinion of her. Give it a rest already.

For more of the same, check out how Amber Heard could now be facing perjury charges as well. When it rains, it pours.
