April Fool’s Day falling on Saturday this year meant that I probably didn’t see as many amazing tricks from brands/celebrities as usual because I quite simply wasn’t paying as much attention to the internet on a Saturday, but this major fail from Jordan Peterson is too stupid not to discuss.

Peterson is always commenting on articles and talking about how everyone in charge is an idiot and his ideas make a lot more sense, so it’s not really that surprising that he jumped on this article about one lane of the Trans Canada Highway being converted solely into a bicycle lane at a cost of $100 billion in order to eliminate cars. There was even this fake quote from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau:

This confirms our government’s plan to take as many cars off the road as we can to improve the environment.

There is really no reason if you have to visit your grandmother in the hospital in Vancouver, and you live in Calgary, that you can’t bike it in a couple of days.

Lol. That’s a pretty funny quote isn’t it? I think almost everyone with a brain would probably have picked up on the fact it was an April Fool, except for Jordan Peterson 0f course. Here’s what he had to say about it:

That’s pretty great isn’t it, because it just make himself look majorly stupid after calling Justin Trudeau a stupid idiot. You love to see it and so did everyone on Twitter as well:

It’s also really funny that the original tweet has even been flagged as being satirical/an April Fool’s joke by Twitter itself. How did a man as smart and great as Peterson not figure that out?

Unlucky mate. It happens to everyone, even those that aren’t as much of a genius as you. Evolution baby.

For more of the same, check out Jordan Peterson talking about the ‘she’s not beautiful’ controversy. What a response.
