Cringe moment at the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial today. Dr. David Spiegel, a psychiatrist and physician, was on the stand testifying that Depp’s use of an earpiece while filming may be a sign of decline or impairment from drug and alcohol use. Depp’s lawyer, using a random example, asked Dr. Spiegel whether he knew if Marlon Brando used an earpiece on set.

His answer resulted in Johnny Depp (and the entire courtroom) dying a little bit inside:

It was a particularly brutal moment for Johnny, who worked with Brando on Don Juan DeMarco (1994) and The Brave (1997)…

I’ve actually been watching a bit of this doctor’s testimony on YouTube and he’s completely ridiculous. Where is Amber Heard’s team finding these jokers? Gonna take a big breakthrough or plot twist from here on to swing things in her favour, although Johnny Depp is returning to the stand this week. More drama to surely follow…
