Supermodel Gisele and Leo DiCaprio dated for 5 years from 2000 – 2005, and when they split up everyone assumed that Leo ditched her so he could resume a bachelor life of flying dozens of 10/10 models to private islands for non-stop orgies on beach.

Well it now turns out it was Gisele who ended the relationship, because Leo was such a nightmare to date.

Gisele told ‘PORTER’ that she realised she needed a massive change in lifestyle while dating Leo:

No longer numbing myself with smoking, drinking and too much work, I was becoming more and more aware of things that I’d chosen not to look at.

Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while he stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes.

Leo must have really liked her though – she was the only girlfriend he’s even brought as a date to a ceremony; the 2005 Oscars when he was nominated for The Aviator.

Poor Leo. I wonder if he ever recovered? As you may have heard, Gisele is now married to and has a family with NFL star Tom Brady. Lucky bugger (both of them).

Meanwhile, Leo has finally won that elusive Oscar but he had to get shagged by a grizzly bear to do it. So I guess Gisele won this break up.
