2) North Korea Did It

MH370 Conspiracy Malaysia Airlines - DPRK

It’s nice and easy to point the finger at the world’s most secretive and OTT country. If North Korea had done it I imagine they would have been showing off about it by now, that would have been an impressive feat for them. Although it seems pretty random to blame DPRK, they have had a go at this type of thing before. The Korean Air Lines YS-11 hijacking occurred on 11 December 1969. A domestic flight was heading from Gangneung  to Seoul when a DPRK agent took control and landed the plane in North Korea with its passengers held as captives. Most of the passengers were returned two months later, but the crew and seven passengers remained in North Korea and have not been seen since.

So we can’t dismiss it as a possibility, but after recent friendly talks with South Korea and the fact that DPRK needs China as a buddy, it seems unlikely they would have done it.
