Flat Earthers Are Planning An Antarctic Expedition To The Edge Of The World

For some reason, a whole bunch of people out there seem to think that the Earth is flat and we’re all trapped inside some kind of snow globe, but despite all evidence suggesting that this isn’t actually the case, the movement continues to grow and come up with even crazier ideas like the one in this article.

A Flat Earther named Jay Descaby has announced that he’s planning to ‘shut the debate down once and for all by’ by setting up an expedition down the coast of Antarctica to find the edge of the world. He’s also going to film the event for a television series, which I’m sure will get monster ratings.  Here’s how he said he’s planning to do it:

All we have to do to shut this debate down once and for all is get the distance of the coast of Antarctica.

It has been done by early sailors (before the UN was established and set up its Antarctic treaty essentially making it illegal for independent and private exploration of Antarctica) who managed to make 60k+ miles which irrefutably proves the flat earth model, but like all other mountains of evidence for flat earth this is not enough for ballers today.

If we can get to the coast of Antarctica and sail all the way around it, we will get the distance that will prove it’s the outer edges of flat earth and refute entirely every single argument anyone can possibly try to pitch for the sun-worshipping cult of heliocentrism.

They’ve made laws to not allow any kind of motorized equipment on the ice which would help us prove not only flat earth but what’s beyond the ice wall, but in reality, we don’t even need to get onto the ice to prove flat earth.

The coast of Antarctica on the ball earth is no more than 14.5k miles. On a flat earth, it would be over 60k…we have evidence of 60k+ and none of 14.5.

Er what? I guess what he’s trying to say is that Antarctica is much bigger than people are saying and that if they can get the whole way around it then this will prove Flat Earth Theory, but I mean if they can get all the way around it, will it actually prove anything? Surely it must be pretty easy to just stick some numbers on something or even fake a real time video of them doing it?

My biggest question though is if they can go all around the coast then why don’t they just keep going until they reach the edge of the world and film that so nobody else can actually argue with them? That’s pretty irrefutable evidence if they could get it so maybe Josh should be focussing all his resources on going for that rather than this dumb coastline expedition. Just saying.
