David Fincher movies are always worth the wait (Fight Club, Seven, Gone Girl, Zodiac), and it seems The Killer will be no exception after the trailer arrived to plenty of fanfare earlier today:

The synopsis from Netflix is pretty straightforward:

After a fateful near-miss, an assassin battles his employers and himself on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.

Michael Fassbender is a quality actor who seems to have been in a lot of rubbish movies since his Oscar nomination for ‘Steve Jobs’, so good to see him in something that is pretty much guaranteed to buck the trend. Not a bad supporting cast to help him out either:

The Killer is based on a French comic book of the same name, so that explains the sort of style they seem to be going for. Can’t wait for this one and hopefully it will be the comeback movie that Michael Fassbender needs to get his name back up there with the elite actors of today.

The Killer is out on Netflix on November 10 – not too long to wait.
