This Dude Has Spent £30k To Transform Himself Into A Nazi Supervillain

Money well spent.

You might remember about 18 months ago we ran a feature on a guy who was having extensive body modification surgery to be transformed into Marvel Nazi super villain The Red Skull.

Well, it turns out that the surgery has finally finished and 38 year old Henry Rodriguez has completed his transformation. He reckons that it cost him about £30,000 and took about 130 hours and seven years to become the real deal.

The whole situation began when Emilio Gonzalez, a medical school dropout who specialises in tattooing and extreme body surgery, said he could fully realise Henry’s idea of turning himself into Captain America’s nemesis. Henry explains:

I started this project around seven years ago.

I wanted to turn myself into this amazing comic character who I’ve really admired since I was little.

I feel like there are similarities between this character and I regarding to personality and attitude.

As for his physical appearance, I’ve always been attracted to that unique shape, his extrovert personality and uniqueness.

It is important to say that the only thing I don’t have in common with him is his Nazi ideology.

I had to take several psychological and physical tests before beginning the surgery and then it began with my eyes being tattooed black.

After this I got two implants under my skin. It took around two years because it is a process that must be done in stages and it took longer than expected.

The implant that I have in the middle part of my forehead was the first one. After that I got the implants in my eyebrows and finally the ones in my cheeks.

Then we carried on with the amputation of the nose and changed the shape on my ears. The most recent modification was the forked (viper) tongue.

Finally my face was dyed red and I became the Red Skull.

People reactions are very different, sometimes funny, and sometimes odd but we are here to educate people.

It wasn’t easy for my family to accept my lifestyle but, even so, they are still my family and a part of me.

My son Aarón Rodrigo is three-years-old. If he accepts me and loves me I don’t care about what other people would say.

What matters to me is being happy and accepting myself. We will always be judged.

I decided to be who I am now and I feel good with myself. That’s the most important thing.

Well, I suppose that’s cool – and his kid looks kinda happy? – but also kinda insane that in order to feel good about yourself you have to get your face painted red and £30,000 worth of body modification surgery to look like a Marvel superhero whose main feature of their personality is their Nazi ideology. Sure, you say that you don’t like that part about him, but it pretty much makes the character, so you can understand why some people are going to question your beliefs. And that’s not even mentioning the fact that you look completely bizarre anyway. Good one.

Still, Henry is here to educate us and that seems to be what he’s doing. Long may it continue and if you want to see some other people who modified their bodies, check out the weird Japanese trend of being a Bagel Head. Really can’t comprehend that one.
