It’s pretty much a standard truth that exercise is a useful and necessary part of life, but if you’re Donald Trump then you’re going to be saying that this concept is Fake News. Because to be fair, what isn’t Fake News to him these days?

A new profile of Trump has revealed that he doesn’t exercise and thinks that all sports except for golf are a complete and utter waste of time. Authors Michael Kranish and Marc Fisher revealed his reasons for this in a 2016 book entitled ‘Trump Revealed’:
After college, after Trump mostly gave up his personal athletic interests, he came to view time spent playing sports as time wasted.
Trump believed the human body was like a battery, with a finite amount of energy, which exercise only depleted. So he didn’t work out.
When he learned that John O’Donnell, one of his top casino executives, was training for an Ironman triathlon, he admonished him, “You are going to die young because of this’.
I mean, I have heard that theory before and it might possibly make sense, except that the majority of everyone who works out and stays healthy seems to live longer? I think that’s scientifically proven. But I suppose Donald Trump doesn’t believe in science and knows way more about what he’s talking about than people who have studied the human body for their entire careers.
But hey, if anyone says you’re looking fat or unhealthy or something, just drop them with that Trump truth bomb. Pretty sure they’ll have no comeback for that and pretty soon the ‘exercise pill’ is going to be released so we won’t even need to exercise anyway. Perfect.
