Demi Rose Says All You Need To Be A Top Instagram Model Is Hard Work & Dedication (And Good Genes)

You know an Instagram model has reached new levels of superstardom when anytime they share a photoshoot on Instagram they get media outlets like The Sun and the Daily Mail (and Sick Chirpse – hi) covering it.

UK-based Demi Rose is one of those models, having started from the bottom (sharing selfies on social media and building up a following) until she ended up signing a modelling contract and now travels around the world getting paid to take hot photos.

In fact, Demi has been putting in the work since the MySpace days. Old school:

I posed for selfies and pictures and it just grew from like 60,000 to 200,000 to a million to 3.2million now.

In school I was quite popular on MySpace and that kind of followed on to Instagram. It was really weird when people started recognising me and stuff on the street. I just got used to it.

As if that wasn’t inspirational enough, Demi assures that YOU can do it too, provided you work hard, eat right, stay dedicated and… are born hot:

I have a Nike trainer and I train with him in Birmingham. We do lots of glutes work and abs work, 30 mins each. It’s hard work, and I eat quite healthy too. He trains a lot of footballers and has worked with Anthony Joshua.

If I’m in Birmingham I try to go to the gym three to four times a week. I don’t really have much carbs, basically nuts, nuts, nuts.

For breakfast it’s usually eggs, lunch it has to be something light like a chicken or prawn salad with a superfood.

For dinner I like protein, like fish with vegetables or sushi. Then more nuts. My guilty pleasure is chocolate nuts or salted nuts!
