Has there even been a more exciting time to be a darts fan? First Luke Littler took over the world by being a 16-year-old who looks like a 35-year-old man who’s unbelievably good at darts, and now we have a player storming off the stage and blaming his loss on a rival purposely farting and stinking up the entire arena:

Great stuff. I just love how Darren Webster refused to shake hands and just marched off stage so he could get straight on social media and blame the loss on Ron Meulenkamp’s farts stinking up the place. Are farts not allowed in darts? Seems like the one sport where you should expect to be around a lot of farting.

The question is – was the farting an intentional tactic by Meulenkamp? Pretty genius if so. Not only did his fart invade Webster’s nostrils and mess with his equilibrium, it’s also a mind-game that clearly rattled him into oblivion. Doubly so as he then went on to deny farting after the game. How infuriating for Webster!

Could be a real turning point in how competitive darts is played from here on. Hey, if it gets you the win, then why not?
