10) Henry Fuseli

Henry Fuseli, born in Zurich in 1741, has recently been deemed an early member of the Illuminati thanks to the occasional reptilian that pops up in his works. He moved to England in 1765 and spent the majority of his career there. He began painting at 25 and created 200 pieces before he died, the most famous of which is ‘The Nightmare’:
