Danny Dyer is/was the quintessential cockney bad boy of the UK, but even he’s not happy about Andrew Tate and the influence the Top G is having on young people around the world.

Dyer, 46, spoke out this week after experiencing the modern parenting nightmare of discovering his 9-year-old son is a fan of Andrew Tate.

Dyer said:

“My little boy who’s nine, he’s really smart,  but he’s got a phone now. So the other day his mum said to me, ‘Oh,  you know, he likes Andrew Tate’, and I went, ‘What?’ So I went, ‘You like Andrew Tate?’ He went, ‘Yeah, that is a top G’.

“And I went, ‘Right, OK. But, you know he says really f**king stupid  things?’ And he went, ‘Yeah, but he’s still a top G’.”

He went on:

“If there wasn’t social media, there would be no Andrew Tate. ”

“I remember back in the day, I think Andrew Tate tried to be on Big  Brother. So he was looking for fame, and that was his only avenue in.

“Now he’s the most Googled man on the planet apparently, there’s disciples, there’s other little youngsters going ‘I like what he’s doing, I’m going to do the same thing’.”

Expressing his concern, Danny continued:

“It is flowing through every school,  even here.

It’s integrating into young boys’ souls.  And that’s all they need,  because it’s a tough time to be a boy.  At school, they’re behind girls  at every level.  From early years to SATs,  GCSEs,  A-levels, university  admissions and degrees.”

Seems like he’s been thinking about this deeply. Which makes sense when you’ve got young children and need to keep on top of what their interests and influences are. Nowadays, there’s more out there to corrupt them than ever! Yeah OK, Danny Dyer was a British cult hero because he liked to drink, do drugs, fight rival football firms, etc… but that was all on TV & film! Young people like Danny Dyer’s son have access to Andrew Tate and his real world life lessons 24/7 through their smartphones.

In any case, good to know that being a proper geezer doesn’t involve endorsing or (allegedly) trafficking, raping and beating up women. Big relief for anyone out there still trying to model themselves on Danny Dyer in 2024. Better than modelling yourself on Andrew Tate though, right?

For the time Andrew Tate told a 10-year-old boy to ‘get a life’ because he petitioned Apple to change the glasses emoji, click HERE. Lol.
