It would be somewhat of an understatement to say that the Will Smith slap fiasco at the Oscars has dominated the headlines this week – I think I’ve written about 20 stories on it just by myself – but I don’t think I’ve heard as good a take on it as this one from Daniel Radcliffe today.

Radcliffe was appearing on Good Morning Britain this morning where he said the following after he was asked about it:

No I saw it.

I’m already just so dramatically of hearing people’s opinions.

I just don’t want to be another opinion adding to it.

Lol. He actually looks really stressed out just talking about it and to be honest he’s kinda right. Who cares what some guy who was in Harry Potter thinks about it all, even if he does have a new movie with Sandra Bullock in coming out soon?

His opinion on it – or mine or Joe Rogan’s or Jim Carrey’s isn’t really that important and the sooner we stop talking about it the better because Daniel Radcliffe is right, it is pretty boring. Problem is that I don’t think we’re ever going to stop talking about it because it’s one of the most outrageous celebrity moments of all time and that kinda says all you need to know about our culture. Sad but true.

For more of the same, check out Daniel Radcliffe talking about Harry Potter turning him into an alcoholic. Tough life.
