A fast food customer over in Toronto, Canada, left some rather bizarre instructions while placing their order at Fresco’s Fish and Chips.

After ordering two diet cokes, a side of deep fried pickles and three portions of mozzarella sticks, they felt it was necessary to explain why they needed so many of those delicious cheesy snacks:

Yes — I meant to order 3 mozzarella sticks. Please don’t judge me. I’m having a bad week and was so excited they were back on the menu.

While I’m sure we can all empathise with this customer, most of us would probably just pretend that it was for more than one person. However, this customer’s fair explanation has caused the amusing receipt to go viral.

The restaurant said that they had a pause on the deliveries but they recently restarted them in the city and they put the mozzarella sticks back on the menu, much to this customer’s delight. Now the shop is being inundated with phone calls asking them about their delicious sticks. One of the cooks, Brain, said:

People love deep fried cheese.

We get through tons of mozzarella sticks a week.

Even more now thanks to this story. Anyway, whoever that customer is, I hope that those sticks hit the spot and cheered up their week somewhat. They’ve certainly cheered mine up.
