Corey Feldman’s New Band Performed On TV And It Was The Weirdest Thing Ever

Corey Feldman was one of the biggest stars of the 80s, but it’s well documented that he’s gone off the rails since then and is pretty much a complete and utter weirdo now.

This can be exemplified by the fact that he’s apparently spent the last ten years of his life working on a record and to announce this to the world he decided to perform live on US TV’s Today Show in what can only be described as the most bizarre performance of all time. Everything about it is completely weird that it almost comes across like he’s taking the piss out of himself, but you just know he’s serious which makes it all the more tragic.

It’s probably better if I don’t spend any time describing it to you and you just dive in head first. Trust me, you’re in for a treat:

I just wow. There’s so much about it and it just gets more and more weird as it continues. The album artwork, the outfit, the detachable hoodie, the backing band dressed up as angels, the dance moves, the rapper at the end, the actual fucking song he’s been working on for ten years – just when you think it can’t get any more tragic, it gets about ten times more tragic than it just was. That’s some kind of special skill right there. What the hell is going through Corey’s brain that he actually thinks this is a good idea?

I wanted to go in harder on him to be honest, but since the performance has gone viral and been widely ridiculed, he apparently appeared on Facebook Live saying the following (I say apparently because the actual post has now been deleted):

We just wanted to tell everybody that, like, it’s been really painful. We put ourselves out there and we did the best that we could. And, like, I’ve never had such mean things said about me. Like constantly.

All we can say is that we tried really hard. Because we love our fans and we just wanted to give them the best show that we could. But we don’t deserve… these things that are said about us are awful.

It was a song, okay? It wasn’t that weird. I’m sorry if it’s not good enough for you, but you don’t have to beat us up. I just want to say that, like, why is it okay to, like, publicly shame us?… I don’t understand… It’s, like, not PC to, like, say somebody is fat or somebody is white or somebody is black or somebody is yellow or green or if they have a short leg or if they have a missing finger. Like we can’t talk about these things. But it’s okay to bash Corey Feldman and the Angels.

We can’t get out of bed right now. We’re petrified to even go out… And I’m sorry, but we just wanted the world to know, like, we’re really freaked out over this and it’s really not fair.

Public shaming should not be accepted, no matter who you are. It doesn’t matter if they’re a celebrity or not. We deserve love and we deserve, like, normal life… It’s not okay, it’s not acceptable to call us freaks, weirdos, losers, whatever.

I suppose Corey does have a point, but how can you honestly not be completely freaked out about what you just watched up there? It IS completely weird and maybe this will make Corey realise that some of his recent life choices have been a bit questionable. I hope he feels better though seriously and stops doing weird stuff like this, however funny I actually find it.

If you didn’t see his first music video, then it’s about 1000 times less confusing than this video. So still completely and utterly weird.
