Conor McGregor might not be the force in the octagon that he once was, but he’s definitely still a force to be reckoned with when it comes to social media as the following Twitter rant last night goes to prove.

Conor was reacting to Justin Gaethje’s TKO win over Tony Ferguson over the weekend and pretty much took shots at the whole lightweight division with an unhinged rant last night which featured some pretty nasty words and brutal takedowns on his behalf.

I love Tony. We represented him amazingly at Paradigm sports and were betrayed for a promise of a baseball contract. But frame and preparation here was just embarrassing. His methods and conversation are humorous/enjoyable but he was never the level perceived. Although tough.

I mean obviously people rushed to the replies to post memes of Conor tapping out to Khabib, but I guess that’s just Conor McGregor’s gift isn’t it? Even though he got badly dominated in that fight he can still come out and throw some disses around and act all confident and you do end up believing that he might have a chance if he ever steps in the ring with Khabib again. Needs to get through Gaethje first by the looks of things though and it’s anybody’s guess if he’ll be able to do that after the performance he put in at the weekend. Looking forward to it though.
