To say that it’s big news that the Spice Girls are reuniting next year for their first shows since the Olympic Closing Ceremony in 2012 would be somewhat of an understatement – even if Victoria Beckham isn’t going to be there – so imagine how the news that they’re going to be having open auditions for their backing dancers is going to go down.

The news was broken by choreographer Paul Roberts, who stated that all potential dancers should send their CV and a head shot to [email protected].

I mean that doesn’t really sound like just anyone in the street is going to be able to blag an audition, but if you’ve got a nice head shot and can make your CV sound pretty good, who knows? Maybe you could be heading out on tour with the Spice Girls this summer. I doubt that you would get to meet or hang out with any of them – even though you would essentially be dancing a few feet away from them – but I’m sure you would have an absolute whale of a time travelling the world and be paid handsomely for your efforts.

Might as well go for it. What’s the worst that could happen?
