Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States and was shot by a sniper – identified by government investigations as Lee Harvey Oswald, although many believe there is a conspiracy around the event and he wasn’t the actual shooter – as he was passing through Dealey Plaza in Dallas in a Presidential motorcade with his wife Jacqueline by his side.

His killer was assassinated himself before he could stand trial. Many conspiracy theorists believe this was a cover up.
