Dana White’s Contender Series basically gives up-and-coming MMA fighters the chance to impress the boss and earn a fight contract with the UFC that could change their lives.

One guy who definitely took the opportunity by the balls was Aalon Cruz, who knocked out opponent Steven Nguyen in spectacular fashion on Tuesday with a brutal flying knee KO.

What an awesome feeling that must have been for him. Connect a fucking clinical knee to your opponent’s face and knock him out, and then turn over to look at Dana White hand-signalling to you that he is signing you up for a fight in the UFC. Cheque please! What a crazy moment.
