The man can be seen speeding past the camera as journalist Keith Doyle was reporting on the Charlie Gard case outside High Court in the Strand. The bus swiftly stops before the man disappears from the screen. Witnesses can be seen looking on in shock.

Judging by the crowd’s reaction, that guy must’ve hurt himself pretty bad. A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said:

Police were called at 3.10pm on Monday, 10 July, to reports of a collision outside the Royal Courts of Justice.

A male pedestrian was reported to have been in collision with a bus.

The man had an arm injury, which is not thought to be life-changing or threatening.

Subsequent enquires showed the bus had not struck the man and this was not a traffic collision.

It’s not known yet why the man ran in front of the bus or who he was running from, although it’s likely to do with the protests that are being held in support of Charlie Gard’s parents.

Anyway, I’m guessing he didn’t react to being hit by a bus in the same way that this guy from Reading did. The dude got smashed into by a runaway vehicle, immediately got up and went straight to the pub. Lad.
