Australian Politician Yells At Dog During Live TV interview

Bizarre moment on Australia’s ABC News earlier as conservative politician Barnaby Joyce interrupted his own interview to scream at a dog off-camera.

Joyce was asked if he was ‘comfortable’ with where the leader of his party – the One Nation Party – was taking them, and this was his response:

Um, PETA? RSCPA? Are you seeing this? I really don’t think that’s normal and especially weird to do during a live TV interview. You might even say it’s indicative of a deeply troubled and angry person who probably shouldn’t be in any position of political power.

Although, to be fair to Joyce, with his record on dogs you would think his pets would have learned how to behave by now:

I’m not sure we can call this guy a dog lover on that evidence and it’s going to get even worse now that his political opponents will be cracking dog jokes at him for the rest of his career.

Not to mention that screaming at your dog like that during a live interview isn’t exactly a vote winner. Way to go, Mr. Joyce.
